Our desire is to be a church where the Holy Spirit is present with us and free to move. On Sunday mornings different people will contribute as they feel led. This could include reading scriptures, or sharing a prophetic picture or word for our encouragement. We often hear a word given in another language with its interpretation or a spontaneous song of worship. All contributions are shared first with those leading the meeting. If you have any questions about this please get in touch with the office.
On the first Sunday of every month we celebrate together what Jesus has done for us on the cross by sharing communion and remembering His sacrifice.
Communion is an act of worship for believers in Jesus and there is no pressure to take part. Each time we share communion one of the leaders will guide us in what to
do. The wine is not alcoholic and all bread is gluten free.
A new life
We believe that the bible tells us when we choose to follow Jesus and have committed our lives to Him we should publically declare it and be baptised in water to symbolise the beginning of our new life. For this reason we baptise people when they themselves have made a decision to follow Jesus. We have Baptism services throughout the year, they are a great celebration.
We hold dedication services during the year where parents can have their baby or child dedicated. It is a great family celebration where we pray God’s blessing upon the child. We also pray for the parents as they commit themselves to loving and caring for their child and to bring them up in the Christian faith as the rest of the church partners with them on their journey.
